Our world is a visual treasure and photography provides a means of preserving that treasure. Moreover, each of us sees the world from a unique perspective, and this view can be shared through photography.
The purpose of the Southeastern Photographic Society is to provide members with the tools for capturing images and sharing them with others.
The Society was formed in 1976 by photography students at the Callanwolde Fine Arts Center with the guidance of Neil Chaput de Saintonage.
The Society has grown steadily to it's current membership of about 100 amateur and professional photographers. The Society is a member of the Photographic Society of America, and participates in regional and national photographic activities.
